Another year has flown by. This is the time of the year we pause and reflect, analyze the year behind us and look ahead for the year to come. With that in mind, here’s a look at 2017 with Woodlands Tree House:
Teaching Fine Motor Skills. Learning to cut using scissors develops your child’s fine motor skills and coordination. Because they are developing muscles they haven’t used in this way before, it requires lots and lots of practice. Be patient and encouraging as you help them learn to use scissors.
Healthy Eating for Kids. Fast food and processed foods have taken over our culture. When you combine that with tablets, devices, and a generation who hardly play outside, healthy living is a challenge for today’s school age and preschool kids. You can help them, though.
Giving Gifts to Promote Development. Christmas is an exciting time for children with all the festivities, decorations, and gifts under the tree. They simply cannot wait (and sometimes they do not) until Christmas morning to open their gifts. What a great opportunity to include some gifts focused on their growth and development!
2017 has been an incredible year for Woodands Tree House Preschool. We thank each one of you for your continued trust with your children. Here at Woodlands Tree House, we are excited for all the New Year has to offer and look forward to teaching your kids another year. Here’s to the best New Year’s Eve and Happy New Year!
